About MMI Services
MMI Services is an independent well servicing company headquartered in Bakersfield, California. Since our founding, we have delivered quality service across a wide variety of completions, workovers, abandonments, and production work for major oil companies, small independent producers, and the State of California alike.

Our double drum unit runs both .108 slickline and .218 configurations, giving our crews the flexibility to match the right tool and wire size to the job at hand.

Well Maintenance and Intervention
Slickline is the go-to solution for many of the most common well maintenance tasks. MMI runs gauge rings, bailer operations, and general well cleanout work that keeps wells producing at their best. Our crews are thorough, organized, and focused on getting the job done right the first time.
Plug Setting and Retrieval
MMI’s slickline crews are experienced in setting and retrieving bridge plugs, cement retainers, and other downhole plugs that are critical operations for zone isolation, well control, and workover preparation. We work efficiently to minimize time on location without cutting corners on execution.
Tubing and Wireline Shifting Operations
Our slickline capabilities include shifting sliding sleeves, circulating valves, and other downhole flow control devices which give operators a reliable, low-cost option for production management and well optimization without the need for heavier intervention equipment.
